Meat Cards : Edible Business Cards
When was the last time you ordered for a set of business cards? Was it plastic or synthetic paper? How about something edible? Yes, we have edible business cards, made of beef jerky; printed off lasers. This is the latest glam in town and is soon catching up to the common man. The manufacturers, as they say it, have too many orders to process it in a timely fashion (in the testing stages).
Meat Cards is the company that has been printing on pure beef jerky using a 150 watt carbon-di-oxide laser. The prints seems legible and the cards are good to look at; not sure where one would store them.
The first set of prototypes of meat business cards were performed last week. It was a design from American Psycho. The output was very close to original except that the meat contained holes in them.
Meat Cards are expected to go commercial pretty soon. If you are planning on printing yourself a set of business cards, hold on a teeny bit and you could get yourself a name in history. On the flip side, if you end up going down in your professional life, no worries about throwing away your business cards, just chew them in.
