Built for powerful inkjet printing, the Brother DCP-J4110DW is a part of the brand's Business Smart series, which offers powerful machines for professional use. It is compact and user-friendly and it offers a number of advanced features that promotes greater productivity, especially in a busy work environment. The Brother DCP-J4110DW helps printing costs low by using affordable and long lasting consumables. However, its rated speeds of 18 ppm in black and white and 16 ppm in colour are not as impressive as other units in the same range.

Design

The Brother DCP-J4110DW is an all around printer that can print, scan, fax and copy, packing all four functions into one, compact 7.3x18.9x11.4 inch machine. It has an internal paper tray, which is quite unusual for an inkjet. While this feature reduces the machine's footprint, it limits capacity to only 150 sheets. The Brother DCP-J4110DW has excellent connective options, including USB, Ethernet, and even wireless support.

Advantages

One of the best features of the Brother DCP-J4110DW is its touch screen control panel, which is conveniently designed for better viewing and easier control. It flips forward from the machine and features intuitive controls and commands for all printer functions. Printing costs are not as steep as other inkjet units, with ink cartridges averaging up to 600 pages before replacement.

Disadvantages

On the other hand, the Brother DCP-J4110DW is not the fastest horse in the race, producing only 18 pages per minute of black and white text and up to 16 pages per minute of coloured documents.
