The HP Designjet T520 ePrinter is a 24-inch large format printer that uses thermal inkjet technology for superior quality printing. It has excellent print rates and it offers a set of design features that makes it the perfect choice for businesses that do a lot of large scale image and graphics printing. The HP Designjet T520 ePrinter even offers a wireless interface for more convenient printing. However, the HP Designjet T520 ePrinter requires a large upfront investment and at 40x21x37 inches, it takes up a great amount of work space.
Design
The HP Designjet T520 ePrinter has a typical large format printer design. It features a touch screen display for easy navigation of print tasks, and it has a built-in cutter for more convenient handling of continuous media. The HP Designjet T520 ePrinter also uses HP's thermal inkjet technology, with four ink palettes, including the basic CMY trio and pigment black, which allows more vibrant colour production. It supports wireless and Ethernet networking.
Advantages
Among the best advantages of the HP Designjet T520 ePrinter is its high print resolution, which is rated at 2400x1200 dpi for both black and white and colour prints. It has a 1 GB RAM and it can handle a wide range of media sizes, from 8.25 inch (minimum) to as large as 24x18 inch – media. Wired and wireless connectivity is a nice added touch for more convenient operation.
Disadvantages
However, the HP Designjet T520 ePrinter is not the most compact large-format printer in the market, nor is it the cheapest to own and run.
