With a model size of 1119mm, the Z5600 can print up to A0+/E size and offers a print resolution of up to 2400 x 1200 dpi optimised and a maximum print speed of 60m2/hr. It has a colour touchscreen, print preview, a direct USB flash drive and e-mail printing.

It also requires less staff attention with its 300-ml HP ink cartridges, optimized media usage and no maintenance cartridge. Offering reliable colour and line accuracy it utilises HP Professional PANTONE colour emulation, with Adobe PostScript/PDF and HP-GL/2. The no-maintenance cartridge has auto drop detection and nozzle switching, so it requires reduced cleaning. Image quality can be reliably maintained, and media usage can be optimised by auto-arranging multiple images on a roll with the use of HP DesignJet Click printing software.

Disadvantages

For companies looking for something even more versatile, it should be noted that the base Z5600 printer doesn’t include a scanner, although one can be attached. The ink for this model is only available in 130- and 300-ml tanks which are not as large a capacity as offered with some similar models.
