The affordable HP Envy 4524 all-in-one wireless inkjet printer is aimed at SOHO users. This sleek unit can print, copy and scan. Users also have the capability to produce lab-quality photos with the HP Envy 4524 multifunction printer, thanks to its excellent features. This model comes with standard networking connectivity and also has a duplexer. Its monthly duty cycle is 1,000 sheets. The print speed of the Envy 4524 all-in-one is a bit slow.

Design

Users can copy sheets and books as this model comes with a flatbed scanner. The HP 4524 colour inkjet multifunction printer is easy to use, thanks to its colour touch display. For connectivity, the all-in-one HP 4524 Envy photo printer comes with a USB port and Wi-Fi. Thanks to the built-in duplexer, automatic double-sided printing can be done. The single paper tray can handle 100 sheets.

Advantages

The HP Envy 4524 is ideal for photo printing. It comes with software, HP creations, offers a high printing resolution of 4800 x 1200dpi and supports borderless printing. Users can print using mobile devices as the HP Envy 4524 all-in-one printer has Wi-Fi and supports HP ePrint and Apple AirPrint. The scan resolution of the Envy 4524 Wi-Fi all-in-one printer is high at 1200 x 1200dpi.

Disadvantages

The print, copy and scan resolutions of the HP Envy 4524 wireless inkjet printer may be excellent but the same can’t be said for the speeds. This model could also use extra features, like a USB host.
