This easy-to-use HP Officejet 4500 Desktop All-in-One G510a colour inkjet printer has quick print and copy speeds. Although efficient, the HP 4500 G510a multifunction printer doesn’t offer networking connectivity.
Design
The sleek and black HP Officejet 4500 Desktop All-in-One G510a inkjet printer measures 17.1 x 15.8 x 6.7 inches. It has a flatbed scanner with cover on top and a 100-sheet paper tray at the bottom. For connectivity, the HP 4500 Desktop All-in-One G510a has a USB port. This model also has a control panel that comes with a numeric keypad, monochrome display and function buttons. A standard memory of 64MB is integrated into the unit.
Advantages
Printing and copying won’t take long as the Hewlett Packard Officejet 4500 G510a All-in-One has a speed of 28ppm for monochrome and 22ppm for colour. This unit can deliver high quality text documents and even images as it has a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200dpi. The fax machine has a modem speed of 33.6kbps and it can store up to 100 pages in its memory as well as 90 numbers for speed dialling. The HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One G510a ink cartridges are easy to replace and can be more economical if users opt for high capacity HP 301XL inks.
Disadvantages
The HP Officejet G510a desktop printer is quite large and yet it has low paper handling capacity with no option for extra trays. It only has USB connectivity and doesn't offer networking options. The Officejet 4500 Desktop G510a printer also lacks an automatic document feeder and a duplexer.
