This versatile multifunction machine can scan, print, copy, and fax at excellent speed, making it ideal for a small and busy office. The Ricoh Aficio SG3110SFNw A4 colour gel printer is praised for its paper handling options that can simplify and speed up document production, but the absence of some automatic functions and expandability makes the GELJET SG3100SFNw multifunction printer less useful for a growing workgroup.

Design

The Ricoh Aficio SG3110SFNw multifunction gel printer weighs 15.3Kg but it has a surprisingly small footprint with a frame that measures 399mm wide and 329mm tall. It may require a bit more installation space because it is 436.5mm deep, with front-loading trays. There is a digital copier, flatbed scanner, and 33.6Kbps G3-compatible fax facility. Connectivity is via USB 2.0, wireless LAN, and Ethernet. The standard paper input capacity is 250, while the output bin can handle 100 sheets. The high capacity Ricoh Aficio GELJET SG3110SFNw cartridges can print as many as 2,500 black pages or 2,200 pages per colour.

Advantages

This device warms up and prints fast, and it can function as a standalone fax and copier. The Ricoh GELJET SG3110SFNw printer has a built-in automatic duplexer and automatic document feeder to help minimise resource consumption and downtime. Wired and wireless connectivity are both supported by the Ricoh SG 3110SFNw gel printer. Multiple copying at up to 99 copies is also supported. Liquid gel ink lasts long, so the Aficio SG3110SFNw colour gel printer is cheaper to operate and manage in the long run. Software like SmartDeviceMonitor, Remote Communication Gate S Pro, and DeskTopBinder Lite simplify tasks like usage control and monitoring.

Disadvantages

The Ricoh SG 3110SFNw GELJET printer lacks Wi-Fi direct, so setting up a wireless connection might be difficult. The memory is not expandable, and paper capacity is limited to 850 sheets. There is no multi-bypass tray with the standard unit; users need to buy it as a separate accessory. The Aficio SG-3110SFNw has a busy control panel, which can make on-board operation overwhelming.
