The Ricoh Aficio SG3120BSFNw is the first multifunction laser printer powered by batteries, making it ideal for workgroups working in remote areas. This model has decent print and copy speeds. It can also scan or send and receive faxes. The Ricoh Aficio SG 3120B SFNw colour multifunctional GelJet printer is well-connected and is compatible with Windows and Mac platforms.

Design

The compact Ricoh Aficio SG 3120B SFNw gel printer measures 399 x 436.5 x 329.5mm and weighs 15.3kg. It has a flatbed scanner and an ADF on top and paper trays at the bottom. A control panel with an LCD display and function buttons are on the Ricoh Aficio SG3120BSFNw printer. For connectivity, USB and Ethernet ports as well as Wi-Fi are available. This model has a standard capacity of 250 sheets that can be expanded to 850 sheets.

Advantages

The quick Ricoh SG3120BSFNw GelJet multifunction printer takes less than a minute to warm-up and has a print and copy speed of 29ppm with the first page out in 7 seconds for colour and 5.5 seconds for monochrome. Multiple copying of up to 99 pages can be done on the Ricoh Aficio SG3120BSFNw. The SuperG3 fax machine has a modem speed of 33.6Kbps. Thanks to Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, the Ricoh SG3120B SFNw colour printer can be shared by workgroups and supports mobile printing. Spare batteries as well as a USB port for external device charging are available. The SG 3120B SFNw gel ink printer has standalone fax and copy functionality and its battery life can last for about 500 copies.

Disadvantages

The Aficio SG3120BSFNw multifunction printer could be better if it had Wi-Fi Direct – connecting via Wi-Fi without a network access point.
