Ideal for office users in need of more working space, the Kyocera FS-1028MFP provides the versatility of 3 office machines in one compact unit. It can print and copy in black and white, but the scan feature is able to produce full colour digital copies, when needed. The Kyocera FS-1028MFP multifunction printer has advanced scan and copy features, however, it lacks fax capabilities, and can only produce black and white hard copies.
Design
The Kyocera FS-1028MFP laser printer is compact and relatively lightweight, weighing only 33 pounds; this makes it very easy to set up and install. The device is compatible with most Mac and Windows operating systems, and has standard USB and Ethernet interface for quick data transfer and network connectivity. The Kyocera FS1028MFP printer uses a single black toner cartridge that is easy to replace and offers high page yields up to 7,200 pages.
Advantages
More than cost-effectiveness, the Kyocera FS 1028MFP monochrome laser printer also offers productivity, as it is capable of producing as many as 35 pages per minute, while scans are created at a rate of 15 to 30 scans per minute. The copier can be set up to create up to 999 copies from 1 original, and copy and print resolutions are most impressive.
Disadvantages
The Kyocera FS-1028MFP A4 multifunction printer, however, can only handle black and white print and copy projects. The FS-1028 multifunction printer lacks its own fax modem, which makes it less versatile than other laser MFPs that offer 4-in-one capabilities. Scan resolutions are also quite unimpressive at 200x600 dpi.
