Lexmark MS725dvn Toner Cartridges

Design

The duplex printing feature is standard on the MS725dvn Lexmark and the printer has a 6 cm LCD display which is in colour. There is a multi-purpose feeder of 100 sheets and a 550-sheet tray. The dimensions of this printer are 44.5x42.8x51 cm and it weighs 25.4 kg, so it is not difficult to move around. Designed for the larger office environment, toner cartridges are available which can produce up to 35,000 sheets.

Advantages

The print speeds on the mono Lexmark MS725dvn are 52 pages a minute which is much faster than the average office printer. Printing can be done on a variety of media types including vinyl, card and polyester as well as paper. A variety of connectivity options such as network and USB mean that this printer can be used in different working environments. The unit has been designed to be compatible with different operating systems including Windows, Apple, Linux and Citrix.

Disadvantages

This Lexmark printer model can handle a variety of paper sizes up to and including A4, but this might not be adequate for some office environments. Despite the excellent print speeds, the time to the first page is 8 seconds which is longer than some smaller printers. The printer has no colour printing which could be a disadvantage for some working environments but the print quality of the monochrome printing could outweigh this.
