Our Verdict:

The Sharp MX-3570N is an enhanced MFP that optimises the activities within any workgroup. It combines the functions of a printer, scanner and copier and is fully internet-enabled, with cloud and mobile connectivity enabled with a simple sign-on. Documents can be stored to a central server before being sent to up to five connected devices. It’s a small and compact machine that maximises limited office space, providing all the scanning, printing and copying functionality usually needed. It is also Energy Star-certified, in compliance with greener business practices and optimisation of energy efficiency.

Design

With dimensions of 615x660x638mm and a weight of 87kg, the Sharp MX-3570N is slightly smaller than other models in this range and will fit nicely into limited spaces in the office. It produces consistently superb images, with a copy speed of 35ppm for colour and black-and-white, and copy and print resolution of 1200x1200dpi, with a refresh system to enhance quality. The 10.1” LCD colour screen is the cockpit from which all the print, scan, copy and web operations are initiated and controlled. The icons can be moved around to make customisation fast and intuitive, and more complex operations are also managed from here. A Print Release function sends documents to a main MFP, which acts as a server and can store large quantities of data to release as and when needed.

Advantages

The Sharp MX-3570N prints, scans and copies to a high standard and provides the user with all the web connectivity and capability that is likely to be needed. The quick and easy access to cloud services and the ability to control the printer by remote device are especially useful features for today’s networked business environment.

Disadvantages

The LCD on the Sharp MX3570N is slightly reflective, but the clear icons compensate for this. It is also tiltable to minimise reflections.
