The Expression Home XP-2100 is an affordable 3-in-1 easy-to-use printer that produces clear, vibrant prints. This printer has the capability of mobile printing with Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and compatible Epson apps. It also supports duplex printing, scanning and copying functions, and the above average print resolution of 5,760 x 1,400 DPI means it can also be used for photographs. The average printing speed is around eight pages per minute for monochrome and four pages per minute for colour output.

Design

The XP-2100 is a stylish and compact printer with dimensions of 390 x 300 x 146mm (width x depth x height) and weighs 4kg. It is designed to efficiently use the space in your home by combining printing, copying and scanning into one unit. There are a wide range of paper formats this printer can handle, including A4, A5, A6, B5, Envelope and Letter Legal.

Advantages

The Expression Home XP-2100 provides a range of essential features and is extremely simple to use. Offering flexibility with Wi-Fi printing, it also scans wirelessly around the home and features Wi-Fi Direct for printing without using a wireless network. Epson’s free iPrint app means that it’s simple to print and scan from smart devices, and the Epson Creative Print app can print photos directly from Facebook, create custom stationery and greetings cards, and turn photos into colouring book templates. As well as this, Email Print enables printing from almost anywhere in the world, just by emailing files to the printer.

Disadvantages

The Epson Expression Home XP-2100 is a hardworking and well-designed home printer, but its protruding output tray means it is less compact than it could be. It is also only suitable for home use, not having the output levels and flexibility that larger offices would require.
