  • When the printer tells me the ink is low how do I know which colour is low? For example, black is separate. I've bought ink from you in the past and I now have a new Epson XP-625 printer.

    Replacing Epson XP-625 ink cartridges

The printer should usually alert you to which cartridge is running low by giving a letter / symbol e.g K - black, C- cyan, M - magenta or Y - yellow. This might vary depending on the printer model so we'd advise you to check your manual for further instructions. We've attached a link to the Epson website where you can download the Epson XP-625 printer manual for full instructions on how to replace the XP-625 ink cartridges:

  • What is the difference between Epson ink 26 and Epson ink 26xl ??

    Thank you for your query.

The Epson 26 is the lower capacity while the 26XL is the higher capacity. While the cartridges are physically the same size, the XL has more ink inside.

I hope this helps but if you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact a member of the team.

XP-625 Printer Review

Expert review of the XP-625 printer

Our Verdict:

The stylish Epson Expression Premium XP-625 printer can create equally sleek photos. This Small-in-One takes up little desk space but offers big features from PC-free printing and copying to standard networking connectivity. The Epson XP-625 Wi-Fi all-in-one printer also delivers crisp and professional text documents and can handle a wide range of media. For homes without networks, the Expression Premium XP625 has Wi-Fi Direct connectivity. The individual design of the Epson XP-625 printer ink cartridges and availability of XL inks for this machine allows for low running costs.

The compact Epson XP-625 colour inkjet photo printer comes in shiny white. It measures 390 x 341 x 138mm and weighs 6.7kg. A large LCD display is on the touch panel of the Epson Expression Premium XP-625 wireless Small-in-One photo printer. It also has a USB host and memory card reader. This model comes with 2 paper trays, one can handle 100 standard sheets and the other can handle 20 photo sheets.

Ideal for photo printing, the Epson XP 625 all-in-one supports borderless printing and can deliver 10 x 15cm photos in 20 seconds. It can even print photos without a PC via memory card reader or PictBridge port for digital cameras. The print speed of the Epson XP-625 is quite fast at 32ppm for monochrome and colour documents. The maximum resolution is 5760 x 1440dpi. The Epson Expression Premium XP-625 photo printer can print on CD and DVD media and it comes with an automatic duplexer to reduce paper waste. This model can print through the cloud and supports mobile printing.

Even with 2 paper trays, media handling for the Expression Premium XP-625 Wi-Fi multifunction printer is still quite limited. The XP625 inkjet printer could use an ADF, too.
