The HP DesignJet T1530 is a professional printer that can produce superb results. It is best suited to a busy workplace, particularly one that needs to produce large quantities of prints or detailed line drawings, such as an architectural business. The six ink cartridges, including grey and black photo ink, will achieve accurate lines and high-resolution graphics to a high professional standard. With its two-roll, automatic paper-roll alignment, it gets on with the task of printing without disturbing the working environment, while the stacking tray ensures that all prints are flat and collated.

Design

The HP DesignJet T1530 printer has measurements of 140cm x 91.6cm x 111cm. The device can connect using an Ethernet from mobile devices and USB drive. With a simple front-loading system, it incorporates two rolls for printing, while the 50-page stacking tray keeps graphics and documents in order until they are needed. Using six ink cartridges, it produces a wide range of colours. It incorporates a touch screen that can track printing jobs and show the printer status, to help keep track in busy workplaces.

Advantages

Using six inks, the HP DesignJet T1530 offers a wide range of colours, ideal for line drawings and graphics. With a choice of 130ml or 300ml cartridges, interruptions in production can be kept to a minimum. It prints quickly, and with up to 2400 dpi, it produces a high standard of fine line quality. The latest security protocols will protect confidential prints and documents, even when the printer is unattended. It will manage the print queue and track printing costs, increasing workplace efficiency.

Disadvantages

The HP T1530 is a professional product that is designed for businesses and comes with a high price tag. The warranty is just one year, so the cost of any repairs after this date will need to be factored into the costs.
