The Brother PT-P900W is a useful printer that will print documents, letters, barcodes and labels. Whether you want to print text or images, the machine is able to easily handle both. It is ideal for small or medium-sized businesses that have a range of printing needs. Customise your labels with images, frames or barcodes.

Design

The Brother PT-P900W printer is a sleek device in dark grey that will look good in most offices. This printer has Wi-Fi, USB and serial interfaces. It also has wireless Wi-Fi communication and can be directly connected to iOS and Android smartphones or tablets and Windows computers. The large pint heads can print large labels that are easy to read. The all-in-one drop-in cartridge design makes it easy to replace media and maintain the print quality. Template and downloadable databases are ideal for developing solutions for standalone printing applications, including scanning barcodes or connecting to an industrial device such as a Tester or PLC. The control panel has On/Off, Feed/Cut, and Wi-Fi On/Off keys. There are also LEDs for indicating when the battery is low and when there are Wi-Fi and printer errors.

Advantages

The Brother P-Touch PT-P900W uses thermal transfer, so it does not require ink cartridges. With a maximum print speed of 80 millimetres per second, your labels are soon ready. The printer also has an automatic label cutter. The Brother P900W has Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to connect via a Print & Label app to print labels remotely. It is able to offer a range of fonts and styles to permit the customisation of labels. To save energy, the printer automatically switches itself off. You can connect to data in a spreadsheet to print batches of labels.

Disadvantages

The Brother P-Touch P900W cannot be used on its own as a mobile device. For this, you need a rechargeable battery and holder, which have to be purchased separately.
