Fast print speeds, colour print capability, and versatile paper handling make the Brother DCP-9020CDW a great multifunction printer for a small and busy workplace. It offers innovative direct printing solutions and high yield supplies to increase productivity and reduce operational costs, but its compact size means it lacks few essential features.

Design

This LED machine is cost-effective and environment-friendly to run. The Brother DCP-9020CDW features an understated, semi-industrial, and sleek frame that measures 410mm wide, 410mm tall, and 483mm deep, and measures 18.3Kg. It has a 250-sheet input capacity and a single multi-purpose tray. Connectivity is via high-speed USB 2.0, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. The flatbed scanner has an automatic document feeder for reduced user intervention.

Advantages

It prints in 2400x600dpi resolution for sharper and distinctive documents and graphics. Versatile connectivity lets the Brother DCP-9020CDW connect to a wired or wireless network seamlessly. Print speeds are up to 18ppm in colour and monochrome. On-board operation is possible for quick copy and scan, and direct printing is supported from USB sticks, mobile devices, Google Cloud, and Apple AirPrint. Users can save resources with two-sided printing and the scan-to-network option. The Brother DCP-9020CDW can handle a good selection of media types, including glossy, bond, and recycled paper.

Disadvantages

The Brother DCP-9020CDW may be better with a larger display screen, expandable memory, and more options to expand the paper capacity. The heavy frame makes it difficult to set-up. The manual paper feeder of the Brother DCP-9020CDW can only handle one sheet at a time.
