The Brother MFC-L3730CDN printer model is a colour printer that makes use of an LED array rather than a laser to produce the same high resolution prints. It also supports copying, scanning and faxing, and includes an automatic document feeder that can hold up to 50 pages. Designed for use in small and home offices with minimal print requirements, this all-in-one printer has been designed to sit on a desk. It has a sleek and modern look and will fit comfortably into most offices.

Design

Weighing 23.4kg, the duplex Brother MFC-L3730CDN printer measures 410 x 414 x 475mm and will fit easily on the corner of a desk. Featuring an intuitive 3.7-inch colour touch display screen, print jobs can be viewed and managed easily. The Brother MFC-L3730CDN supports a broad selection of mobile printing options, including Google Cloud Print and AirPrint. It includes USB and Ethernet connection options as standard, and also supports automatic duplexing. It can handle paper up to A4 size.

Advantages

With a standard paper capacity of 250 sheets and a manual single-sheet feed slot, the MFC-L3730CDN Brother printer has a maximum copying and printing speed of 19 ppm in both colour and monochrome. The all-in-one Brother MFC-L3730CDN laser printer has a maximum printing resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and produces high-quality, clear prints and high-definition scans. The first copy out time is also reasonable at 17.5 seconds.

Disadvantages

While this printer is slightly larger and heavier than comparable models, despite the use of space-saving LED technology, the MFC-L3730CDN Brother multi-function printer can be moved easily if required. This printer can only print envelopes one at a time through the manual feed slot, and it has relatively expensive print supplies. If you regularly print envelopes or have a high monthly print volume, then you may wish to consider an alternative model.
