Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W Printer Review

Expert review of the Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W printer

Our Verdict:

The Konica Minolta PagePro 1350w is an affordable and compact monochrome laser printer that is easy to use and maintain. The PagePro 1350w mono laser printer is a good choice for small offices and homes with minimal printing needs (especially colour printing). Its small size allows it to conveniently share a desk with computers, though it needs an extra 6-inch allowance to accommodate the input tray that folds out from the front of the unit. The Konica Minolta PagePro 1350w provides excellent print quality, though it is not the most smartly designed printer in the market.

Design

At 11x15x11 inches, the Konica Minolta PagePro 1350w printer is one of the most compact lasers for home use. Except for a few design glitches, the Konica PagePro 1350w is a reliable printer with a powerful-enough engine that can produce resolutions up to 1200x1200 dpi. Toner cartridges are not hard to replace but paper jams are quite complicated to clear. It has simple control buttons for starting, cancelling and resuming jobs, along with indicator lights to determine the printer status.

Advantages

The Konica Minolta PagePro 1350w black and white office printer is a good addition to small workspaces. It is compact and very basic. However, the Minolta PagePro 1350w only offers a 250-sheet paper capacity. The toner cartridge for the Konica Minolta PagePro 1350w can last up to 6,000 pages and the printer can handle all kinds of print media. It prints at a fast-enough rate of 21 ppm, though larger offices may want to look for a more powerful device that offers faster print rates.

Disadvantages

Design flaws are the main downsides of the Konica Minolta 1350w laser printer. The input tray needs to be emptied so that it can be folded back up and save space when not in use. Paper jams are quite troublesome and printed pages spill out when the output tray is full.
