The Kyocera ECOSYS M8124cidn toner is a tall but compact multifunction printer designed to support the demands of small offices. The device is effectively an all-in-one as it provides professional copy, fax, and scan functionality, in addition to its impressive print out. Kyocera is renowned for its low power consumption and long-life components, and this device continues the tradition of being cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

Design

The Kyocera M8124cidn toner measures 590 x 580 x 753 mm and is quite heavy, weighing in at 76 kg. Print resolutions of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi are supported, and users can connect via USB host interface, USB 2.0, or gigabit Ethernet. Print speeds are adequate at 24 ppm for A4 and A3 monochrome and colour, and duplex printing is available as standard. There is also a full colour touch screen panel and physical button inputs for easy operation. Its internal memory of 1.5 GB should be sufficient to support most work tasks.

Advantages

The Kyocera ECOSYS M8124cidn toner uses long life components to provide the reliability and efficiency small businesses expect to support core printing tasks. The low power consumption drives down energy usage, but quality does not suffer, as the device produces bold and consistent prints. The HyPAS solution platform is highly customisable and allows enterprises to tailor the device to their digital workflows, which can drive productivity. Disadvantages

The Kyocera M8124cidn offers a standard input capacity of 100 sheets, which is rather limited and prevents the device from being a general workhorse for medium-sized workloads.
