The stylish Brother PT-90 label machine offers many labelling options ideal for home and office use. It can deliver versatile labels that can be placed on office and school supplies. The handheld Brother PT-90 label printer uses direct transfer technology – there’s no need for ink or toner, just label tape.
Design
Ideal for people on-the-go, the Brother PT-90 labeller fits perfectly into bags as it measures 6.1 x 4.4 x 2.2 inches and weighs less than 1lb. It has a standard white housing colour and 3 fun and stylish changeable faceplates. A QWERTY keypad and an LCD display is also on the unit. The Brother P-Touch PT-90 handheld label printer has an integrated manual cutter and comes with battery and label compartments at the back. This unit can handle 9mm, 12mm or 18mm Brother PT90 label tape cassettes.
Advantages
The Brother PT-90 is a fun home labeller built with creative users in mind. It can deliver labels with a maximum resolution of 230dpi and a speed of 7.5mm/sec. This model comes with a QWERTY keypad for ease of use. What’s more, it has a changeable faceplate to suit the labeller. Nine font styles and 7 text framing as well as 8 deco mode patterns are offered. Up to 2 lines can be printed on a single label and the P-Touch PT90 label maker can deliver 7mm high characters. Multi-copy printing of up to 9 labels can be done.
Disadvantages
More labelling options could be offered if the Brother P-Touch 90 label printer had more than 1 integrated font. This model doesn’t have a back light and needs a larger display. A recharging option isn’t offered.
