Designed for small to mid-volume printing, the Brother DCP-9055CDW is an intelligent and speedy colour laser printer for the small office. It is aimed at users that require a no-fuss printer for colour-text documents, but those who require direct-printing capabilities and a more outstanding scanner could look for a cheaper multifunction device than settling for this expensive machine.

Design

This 3-in-1 heavyweight device weighs at least 21 kg without the consumables and measures 410mm wide and 492mm tall. It tends to take up more space at 503mm deep, but it can fit most desktops and standard-sized office cabinets. The printer's standard memory is 128MB, which is already generous when compared to other multifunction printers with only 16 or 32 MB of RAM. The Brother DCP 9055CDW can be connected via a 10/100BaseTX Ethernet or USB 2.0 interface. The buttons are neatly arranged on the control panel in front, which is dominated by a 22-character, 5-line display.
