Design

The screen is a colour LCD display that measures 6 cm. The paper feeds include a 550-sheet tray and a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder. The printer can be connected to a computer network or directly to a device via USB. This Lexmark mono printer measures 44.5x42.8x51 cm and it weighs 25.4kg. It is designed to take ultra-high yield toner cartridges which offer up to 55,000 printed pages before they need to be changed.

Advantages

The print speed of the MS823n Lexmark is 61 ppm, which is an excellent speed for a printer of this size. The unit can handle a variety of different types of paper and sizes and can be used to print envelopes and labels. It only takes 4.2 seconds to produce the first printed page, which is twice the speed of some larger printers. A good print resolution of 1200x1200 dpi ensures that the Lexmark MS823n produces clear and sharp prints each time.

Disadvantages

The mono Lexmark MS823n model does not offer duplex printing as an option, so this means that you will be using more paper than if you had chosen another model. This printer is monochrome only and the lack of colour printing options could be a disadvantage for some users. A4 is the maximum size of paper that the printer will take which does limit what the tasks the printer can perform.
