The Brother HL-L8260CDW is a colour laser printer, best used in homes, small offices and workgroups. The rapid printing speeds, combined with a range of connectivity options, make this an efficient versatile option well suited to the demands of modern devices. A number of eco features both benefit the environment and save money on running costs, while the wax-based ink is not only greener, but also it is also more smudge resistant. Other than photographs, the standard of the printing is generally of a good professional standard. The small footprint takes up minimal space, but as there is no scan, copy or fax function, and additional devices may be needed to fulfil these needs.

Design

The dimensions of the Brother L8260CDW are 410mm x 486mm x 313mm. Print speeds are 31 ppm, print resolution is 600 dpi and the monthly duty cycle is 40,000 pages. Connection is achieved via a USB, network or wirelessly. For paper storage, there is a 250-sheet paper tray that can be increased if necessary. A two line LCD screen is used to monitor the printer’s operations and navigate the controls.

Advantages

With a wide range of connectivity options, including printing from the cloud, iOS devices and smart phones, the Brother HL-L8260CDW is a versatile printer allowing printing on the go. It prints duplex as standard, resulting in considerable paper savings, and high yield toners save on ink. The wax-based toners give black text a more professional looking finish free from smudges.
