The Brother MFC-L8900CDW is an A4 colour multi-function laser printer with a copy, scan and fax function included. Ideal for both single users and busy workgroups, this printer is designed for home or office use. The sleek unit will fit easily even into offices where space is limited, providing quality, reliable printing. A number of green features such as automatic duplex printing and low energy consumption will both save money and help the environment. Capable of high volumes of print, this printer takes security concerns seriously and has a number of features for added peace of mind. The printer produces excellent quality black text, but the graphics fall short of this standard with some colour inaccuracies, particularly in photographs.

Design

The Brother MFC-L8900CDW measures 495mm x 526mm x 549mm and comes in a sleek design. Printing speeds are 31 ppm, resolution is 600 dpi and the monthly duty cycle is 60,000 pages. Connection is achieved via a USB or network interface or wirelessly. Paper is stored in two trays, one holding 500 sheets and the other 250. While this is substantial, the capacity can be increased up to 1,300 with the purchase of additional paper trays. A 12.6cm colour touchscreen is used to monitor the status and select from print options.
