Our Verdict:  

Canon Pixma iP2000 ink cartridges 

The Canon Pixma iP2000 is a good quality inkjet printer that delivers reasonable quality prints at a fast speed. The Pixma iP2000 photo printer offers a maximum print resolution of 600 x 600 dpi for black and white prints and 4800 x 1200 dpi for coloured prints. For connectivity, it has a USB port. The Canon Pixma iP-2000 also offers a PictBridge socket to support direct printing from digital cameras. The Canon iP2000 printer has low capacity inks and does not have memory card slots.

Design

The neat and compact Canon Pixma iP2000 inkjet printer has a vertical input tray and output tray that folds up neatly. The compact Canon Pixma iP2000 measures 16.5 x 10.2 x 6.6 inches and weighs 11 lbs. Print speed can go as fast as 20 ppm for black and white and 14 ppm for coloured prints.

Advantages

The Canon Pixma iP2000’s PictBridge port allows direct printing from digital cameras. The iP2000 printer is reliable and delivers good quality output. The Canon Pixma iP2000 is quite fast for printing photos and users can produce rapid borderless photo prints of up to A4 size. Compatibility with both Windows and Mac operating systems is supported by the Pixma iP2000 photo printer.

Disadvantages

Though the Canon Pixma iP2000 inkjet printer is reasonably priced, expect to shell out for the inks mainly as it has low yield cartridges. The iP2000 colour printer could have been improved if it had memory card slots.
