Lexmark XS950de Toner Cartridges

Design

The Lexmark XS950de features a 10.2” colour touchscreen for easy navigation. It has both Ethernet and USB connectivity, and there are various options for sheet feeders. There is the standard 100-sheet multipurpose feeder as well as the 2,000-sheet high capacity feeder, and the unit includes a booklet finisher and integrated duplex function. The scan function uses a flatbed scanner with an ADF.

Advantages

The Lexmark XS950de can print in a range of paper sizes up to and including A3, making it a good choice for the busy office. The print resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi, which will give you good quality printing time after time. The print speed is up to 45 pages per minute when printing in monochrome, and the time to produce the first page is just 5.5 seconds in monochrome, so you don’t have to wait long for the output. You can scan to a variety of different formats, including TIFF, PDF and JPEG, and you can send your scans directly to email or a USB flash drive as well as to your network.

Disadvantages

This is one of the larger printers in the Lexmark range and weighs 116kg, making it very difficult to move around. Colour printing is slower than in monochrome at 40 pages per minute. The time to produce the first page in colour is also slower than in monochrome at 7.7 seconds. Start-up times are also slower for copying and scanning.
