HP PSC 300 Printer Review

Expert review of the HP PSC 300 printer

Our Verdict:

The HP PSC 300 multifunction printer delivers good quality prints and copies plus coloured scans. The HP 300 printer / scanner / copier has standalone capabilities and is very simple to install and operate. This printer has a maximum print resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. Print speeds can go as fast as 4ppm while copy speeds can go as fast as 3 to 5mpp. The HP PSC 300 is a bit outdated and has already been surpassed by newer multifunction printers.

The simple HP PSC 300 all-in-one has a vertical input tray that can handle 150 sheets at a time. The PSC 300 has a small control panel on top. With the tray installed, the HP PSC-300 inkjet printer has dimensions of 17 x 14.15 x 10.15 inches and weighs 15 lbs. For connectivity, there is a parallel port.

Users only need a small space on their desk for a machine that has 3 functions. The HP PSC300 printer is very reliable and does its job well; its lifespan is 50,000 pages. The HP PSC 300 printer is reasonably priced and consumables are also cheap.

There are already plenty of multifunction printers in the market that can do more than the HP PSC 300. The PSC300 multifunction printer does not have a fax machine and only has a parallel port for Windows computers. It does not work with Macintosh operating systems.
